14% bigger, 30% brighter, 30,000 miles closer and a red haze make the super moon event of 2015 – unmissable.
It may be starting to get cold but, braving the night time chill, I set up the trusty tripod, strapped on the 5D III and armed it with a 600mm lens and pointed it towards the heavens. Luckily, I avoided too much cloud and captured this rarely-seen phenomenon in all it’s glory! 🙂
