Nestled between Soudley Ponds and Mallards Pike lies a road with no name. (If you’re looking to head there, it’s the road with Soudley at one end and Blackpool Bridge at the other). Along this road lies some of the most beautiful springtime walks in the Forest of Dean courtesy of the acres of Bluebells which adorn the forest floor. Carpets of these flowers last only a few weeks but make for a truly stunning walk and, when blessed with sunshine bursting through the forest canopy, some shots which perfectly capture springtime in the forest.
